Sunday 12 January - Valencia

Now this is getting ridiculous - 4.30am! It was just as well that T was already up for the usual nocturnal sojourn.

So once again a late start into another brilliant morning although the breeze has freshened again making it a little less than yesterday. But shorts and tee shirt are still de regeur at 20C. Bacon and eggs for breakfast, not our usual full English 'cos we ate the (Spanish) sausages earlier in the week, which were very nice.

Domestic service again before settling down in the sun once more. We had thought about taking Jamie down to the beach but when we heard reports that there was still a lot of flotsam and jetsom from the flood damage, then somebody said they'd heard human remains had been washed up.............. well perhaps not. It seems there is still a long way to go in the clearup operation as a Brit had ventured out to the retail park complex a few miles down the road and found businesses still being pumped out with mud and debris everywhere. Heartbreaking and probably explains why it's so quiet.
